I love that theyre fast and easy yet can be a great snack. I basically just took my moms Ranch seasoned oyster crackers and created a new recipe using Old Bay.

I was talking with a friend of mine about Thanksgiving and what some of her familys favorite recipes are. She giggled a little and told me about this cracker recipe. She laughed because the recipe is SO simple!

Calories: 3kcal Carbohydrates: 1g Protein: 1g Fat: 1g Saturated Fat: 1g Polyunsaturated Fat: 1g Monounsaturated Fat: 1g Sodium: 32mg Potassium: 7mg Fiber: 1g Sugar: 1g Vitamin A: 3IU Vitamin C: 1mg Calcium: 1mg Iron: 1mg

Goes really good with summer sausage or just to snack on. I have included the basic recipe, you can experiment and add or take away spices to suit your taste buds. If you want a cracker that goes with chili, add chili seasoning..you get the idea smiles

Notes: I tested this recipe with Schär Entertainment Crackers and Lance Gluten-Free Original Crackers with great results. Try to use whole crackers and not the crumbs. If you dump the crumbs in the bowl with the seasoning, the crumbs will soak it up and there wont be enough seasoning/butter mixture to coat the crackers. Lea & Perrins Worcestershire Sauce is gluten-free in the U.S. and The Wizards brand makes one that is both gluten-free and vegan. Always check your labels. I used Lawry's seasoning salt but check your labels.

Seasoned oyster crackers are quick, easy and so good. Make them for a snack or serve them to friends and family with your favorite soup. Either way, you cant go wrong with these little seasoned crackers. My mother-in-law made these crackers for years and took them to the local nursing home as treats for the patients. She visited the nursing home several times a week and always took treat bags with snacks, cookies, etc. They looked forward to her visits with what she called her care packages. You could double this recipe and they keep well in an air-tight container. These crackers would make a great gift along with soup ingredients or a jar of homemade soup.
