Hampshire College alumni magazine showcases President Jonathan Lashs announcement of the colleges new Healthy Food Transition, which includes the transition to Bon Apptit Management Companys food service and its expansion of producing its own food on campus.

When it comes to the partnership between St. Olaf and Carleton Colleges food provider Bon Apptit Management Company, and local farmers, everybody wins. Local farming and its importance to Bon Apptit were celebrated at Carleton on Tuesday during the Eat Local Challenge – a day when the colleges chefs create and showcase a menu made completely from local ingredients.

Bon Apptit Management Company, also behind Washington Universitys dining services and the new Panorama restaurant at SLAM, opened The Docket at the Saint Louis University of Law. It offers casual grab-and-go for breakfast and lunch and pizzas as well as dressier dinner items, all sustainably focused.

Combine ground beef, parsley, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl. Divide the mixture into four portions and shape into patties. Place 4 teaspoons of flour in a shallow dish and carefully dredge the patties in flour.
