When I was trying to figure out what I was going to make for this challenge, I first thought of doing something with coconut milk because, I mean. its coconut milk, but then I remembered Im supposed to be doing Weight Watchers stupid metabolism that isnt like it was when I was 25.. So my husband suggested that I do shrimp tacos. And I was all over that.

When we went to Grand Cayman a few years ago, there was this little tiny restaurant across the street from where we stayed, and they served the most amazing fish and shrimp tacos Ive ever had. Hvorfor? Because they used sweet chili sauce on them.

These tacos feature hand breaded coconut shrimp baked to perfection nestled in tortillas with melted cheese, topped with a local mango sweet chili sauce, cool avocado crèma a side of fresh slaw.

Honestly, why is Tuesday so special, anyway? I say every day of the week should be equal opportunity taco night. Especially when the tacos involve spicy crunchy shrimp and the best damn slaw in the world.

I almost feel like that should be a required discussion question on a first date. Flour and corn peopleareoncompletelyopposite sides of the food spectrum. Im not saying tortilla preference is a deal breaker in a relationship, but – it might be.

For mig? Im a flour tortilla girl. I really try to like corn tortillas. do. Depending on the taco, I can kind of appreciate them, but Im ultimately going to choose the flour option if Im given one.

The crispy, spicy shrimp appetizer, made famous by Bonefish Grill, has hundreds if not thousands of copycat recipes online. These bang bang shrimp tacos may not be an exact replica but they are completely scrumptious in their own right.

The heat-to-sweet factor in this shrimp taco recipe is easy to adjust basedon your preferences. Following the recipe as written will give you a good balance of nice spice. When I make them again, Im planning on bumping up the srirachafor even morebang.

Note: Place a can of coconut milk in the fridge, standing upright, for at least 24 hours, flip it, open it drain the clear liquid out, reserving it for things like smoothies, and the remaining thicker white part is the coconut cream. ption: Use store bought sweet chili sauce and mix in pureed pineapple to taste.

It's Taco Tuesday everyone! How about instead of the traditional Mexican fare, we switch it up with a little asian fusion? Thai cuisine it is! We're going to fill up these Thai Shrimp Tacos with some lime jasmine rice, chile garlic sautéed shrimp, and top them with a drizzle of homemade cilantro avocado sauce. These Spicy Shrimp Tacos fit the bill. The shrimp cook very quickly and taco shells are the perfect vehicle for shrimp all your favorite toppings! These are actually a spin on one of my go-to meals – Sweet and Spicy Shrimp with Soba Noodles – the recipe is fairly similar but eating them in taco form makes it a completely different meal!

For some reason I just cant get enough of the thai chili sauce seafood combo. I especially love it on shrimp and salmon.  Im usually lazy and buy mine at the store but it had been on my list of things to try making at home.
