We make a big batch every so often to freeze and keep on hand for busy weekday mornings. Theyre made with wholesome ingredients and protein-packed Greek yogurt, so we feel great starting our days with a small stack. Pssst. top them with natural almond butter. Så godt!

How do you make pancakes from scratch without milk and eggs?

Not only is this the best tasting pancake mix you will ever experience, it is also the EASIEST to make! The only thing you have to add to this mix is water, no kidding. Most pancake mixes call for eggs, milk, and oil--NOT ours! All you need to have on hand is water! This means the kids can help from start to finish without making a huge mess cracking eggs and spilling milk. Everybody wins! These are not "whole wheat" pancakes, they are light, fluffy and packed with flavor. This mix is the closest you will find to a"from scratch" pancake and you won't have toadd the milk, eggs and oil. Give it a try and we are sure you will never go back to the highmaintence mixes. As an added bonus, this mix is EGG FREE so if you have anyone in the family withthis allergy, you have come to the right place. Our high quality mixes have a clean lable and are all natural. You can use 100 buckwheat flour to make pancakes, but the texture will be a bit drier and the nutty flavor will be more assertive. The 50-50 blend makes pancakes that are fluffy and moist with a delicate nutty flavor.

These buckwheat pancakes are light and fluffy and made entirely from scratch. Theyre not too sweet and are scented with vanilla, making them extra delicious. You can make these with 100 buckwheat flour or use a 50 buckwheat to 50 all-purpose flour blend. The 50-50 blend will make fluffier, more tender pancakes.

My kids love freshly made pancakes but I hate mixing them up in the morning when we are short on time. I dont love the taste of store bought pancake mix so the perfect solution is this homemade whole wheat pancake mix. I love using this because the pancakes are hot and fresh and I only have to add water! It is soooo easy! I also own a wheat grinder so I buy the wheat and grind it myself, which gives me control over what kind of flour I use. My kids like when I add mini chocolate chips or blueberries to the batter.

Dry Ingredients: Whole wheat flour, all purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, sugar. And can I just say that Im not one of those people who likes whole wheat in everything? I know you people are out there because you comment on every recipe we post that involves flour asking for whole wheat instructions. So trust me- these taste REALLY good.

All you do is whisk the dry and whisk the wet and then stir together. Easy breezy. And really, you could even make a well in the middle of your dry ingredients and whisk your wet stuff right there to keep it all in one bowl. Since we make these fairly often I sometimes mix up a few batches of just the dry ingredients and keep them in ziplock baggies in the freezer. Then its even easier to whip them up.

Watch for bubbles to form around the pancake. You can usually tell when a pancake is done because if nudge it with your spatula it holds its shape pretty well around the edges- as opposed to mushing all over.

Since I consider these to be a semi-healthy pancake we try to top ours with something semi-healthy too. For a super easy fruit syrup, just heat up a little jam in the microwave and it easily pours like a syrup. You can do the same thing to peanut butter, and add a little hot water to either of those to make them thinner if needed.
