If you didnt know that egg rolls dont have eggs in them now you do. So why do they call it an egg roll? No one actually knows. One theory, is the wrapper itself contains egg; which isnt too hard to believe. Regardless of theories, I think we can all agree it doesnt matter as long as they taste amazing!
Do you ever buy egg roll wrappers? If you dont, I think you should! They are the perfect vessel for all kinds of great stuff whether youre looking for sweet or savoury. Bite-sized sausage egg rolls fried in wonton wrappers are a flavorful, fun and easy take on traditional Chinese egg rollsand the Mustard Maple Dip mirrors the typical spicy Asian mustard – but adds a little sweetness with ingredients from the pantry.

Garlic Ginger: The real key to this recipe is to use enough fresh garlic and ginger for maximum flavor. Fresh ginger and garlic always tastes the best but if you need to use pre-minced go ahead and do it!
Step One: Heat a large skillet over medium high heat. Once the skillet is hot, add in a little oil to the skillet and then add the minced ginger and garlic. Saut for a minute until everything is fragrant.
Step Two:Next, add the ground pork to the skillet and use your wooden spoon to break it up as it cooks. Cook the ground pork until it is brown, a little crispy, and most of the fat and liquid has evaporated from the skillet. There should not be a lot of extra liquid in the pan.
Step Four: Once the pork is thoroughly cooked, add in the coleslaw mix and green onion and then add the coconut amino mixture. Saut everything until the veggies just begin to wilt and become tender. Then, remove the skillet from the heat.

The classic Spicy Italian sandwich is one of my all time favorites, and Ive taken those flavors and put them into a Crescent Ring, a hot Panini and even these cold Pinwheels.
